THE PULSE FACULTY: DAVE is producing a new show called “Hustle” which will be put on at Drai’s at the W in Hollywood! WADE is looking forward his opening of "Happy Feet 2" and is NOW directing StepUp4! WOW! MIA has a million things in the works, including Broadway and one is a National TV Directing- can't tell you YET (of course!) but we will, soon! BRIAN did the Britney Spears filming THIS WEEKEND. Welcome back to the Brit/Brian world! CRIS choreographed the Sugar Bowl – he’s also appearing at the Choreographer’s Carnival in a special tribute to Travis Payne with other Michael Jackson dancers! We love MJ! TYCE had a great season on SYTYCD, choreographing for "Big Time Rush" and now choreographing for Paula Abdul on "Drop Dead Diva". GIL is working with artist Charice and Janet Jackson on their upcoming tours, starting today! DESMOND is in his 15th season with Complexions and an amazing Breast Cancer Awareness show in NYC August 26th. See him discuss SYTYCD and perform. PULSE PROTEGES AND DANCERS: •The 2010 VMA's rocked! Laurieann Gibson as Gaga's choreographer and 3 VMA awards! Laurieann - congrats on Best Choreography and thanks for including our dancers! PULSE dancers who performed on the VMA's included Ben Susak, Teddy Forance, Ryan Ramirez, Noelle Marsh, Scott Myrick, Tarin Pratt, Chaz Buzan, Judson Emery, Morgan Burke and Channing Cooke. •PULSE Protégé Emily Silber from Planet Dance starred on Season 2 of the MTV reality series, “Taking the Stage”. •Current Elite Protégé Pauline Mata was featured as one of the top 20 on SYTYCD Season 6. Winner of Season 7, Lauren Froderman was also a past PULSE Protégé. •“Impressions, an evening of dance” Joelle Cosentino, in association with Milk and Champagne Productions, brings to you Impressions, an evening of dance. PULSE faculty member and Artistic Director of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Desmond Richardson performed along with PULSE assistant Chaz Buzan! Each piece was dedicated to someone the dance community has lost to cancer or is battling the disease currently. Portions of the proceeds to benefit The American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. •Elite Protégé Taylor Maas was hired by Lauriann Gibson to start working for upcoming pop star Natalia Kills. Lauriann literally hired her right after our PULSE Summer NYC Final Night Gala! •Tyce Diorio performs with dancers on Drop Dead Diva! Kayla Rodomski and Elysandra Quinones who were past Protégés and assistants for Brian Friedman. •Past Elite Protégés Sloan-Taylor Rabinor and Montana Efaw toured with Lady Gaga’s “Monster Ball” tour, choreographed by PULSE faculty Lauriann Gibson. LAG hired these two to work on tour after working with them at the PULSE. •PULSE Elite Brittany Andres and Protégé Kassidy Bright star in the boy band “Mindless Behavior” video called “My Girl”. Dave Scott choreographs for Mindless Behavior. They boys range in age 12-14 and live with their manager in Los Angeles. Mindless Behavior has been the opening act for the Backstreet Boys this past year. •Past Protégé Marina Micalizzi is a featured dancer in Broadway’s Tony Award winning “Best Music” hit “Billy Elliot” •PULSE Protégé Kayla Rodomski and PULSE assistant Taja Riley performed as Cheerio’s on the hit show GLEE and is currently dancing for Janet Jackson for upcoming spot dates in NY and overseas, choreographed by Gil!
